Resumen

La humanidad en toda su historia ha tenido filósofos y pensadores destacados en búsqueda de construcción de nuevo conocimiento científico, el cual ha tenido rupturas y detractores de acuerdo al momento de la historia que se esté viviendo. Para el siglo XXI estas posiciones epistemológicas y modos diversos de comprender la realidad han cambiado, nos enfrentamos a nuevos retos donde los avances científico y tecnológico permiten el surgimiento de nuevas formas de ver el mundo y de comprender a la humanidad. En este contexto, los profesionales enfrentan diversos problemas y situaciones decisivas a las que deben presentar atención, lo que les exige mantener un pensamiento crítico, desarrollan el auto- conocimiento, comprenden los problemas y presentan soluciones eficientes y eficaces.
