Peer Review
Peer Review Policy
Submitted manuscripts are evaluated under a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Reviewers are selected according to their academic profile and research lines related to the submitted manuscript.
The journal collaborates with external reviewers, both national and international, who are independent from the editorial committee and the publishing institution.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts considering aspects such as originality, relevance, academic interest, and scientific contribution, as well as clarity, logical structure, coherence, and compliance with the journal’s publication requirements.
Editorial Decisions
The final evaluation may result in one of the following decisions:
Publishable
The manuscript will be scheduled for publication in the journal, provided that the second review, in the case of the Research section, is also accepted without objections.
Publishable with minor revisions
Authors will have a period of 20 business days from the date of notification to submit the revised version of the manuscript. The editorial committee will verify that the suggested corrections have been adequately addressed.
Resubmit for review
Authors will have approximately 30 days from the notification date to submit a revised version. The manuscript will be sent back to reviewers for a second round of evaluation.
Not publishable
The review report will clearly indicate the reasons why the manuscript cannot be accepted for publication.
