Abstract
The indicator called “Sustracción nominal típica” – “Typical Nominal Subtraction” (SNT), one of the indicators that make up the “Observatorio de Economía y Sociedad” (OBSERVES) of the Universidad Veracruzana, which represents the typical diet of an average xalapeño, quantifies it monetarily and compares it with the Mexican minimum wage, showing the evolution of mentioned variables over time.
In this text, there will be a brief exploration of the indicator and a reading of its recent results.
