Abstract

This paper is the result of an applied research conducted at two middle schools in Xalapa (Mexico) whose purpose was to decrease the failure rate of a second grade math course, by means of a didactic proposal based on new information and communication technologies(ICT), and an eclectic constructivist approach; sensible to the set objectives. Given the scope of this research, in this paper, we narrate one of the experiences we went through in a classroom where the proposal was carried out at the middle school Julio Zárate. Our aim is to report the findings regarding the learning of algebra.
