TMEC: A boost to SMEs

Abstract

This article highlights the importance of two essential aspects for the world's economy, foreign trade, and SMEs, which individually already play a transcendental role but together mean an area of opportunity for those who have known how to take advantage of them. For this reason, it is expected that countries will seek strategies to facilitate that these companies have better access to tools that lead them to achieve internationalization, and although it is true that the USMCA is not the first treaty that adds SMEs among its priority lines, nevertheless being the treaty with the greatest impact for Mexico it is interesting to analyze and appreciate how realistic and convenient its implementation is for SMEs.
