Abstract

Events such as the COVID-19 pandemic have caused a radical change in the way of carrying out daily life activities, such as shopping, requesting services and the way of providing medical care, one of the services that were affected due to the social isolation required during the pandemic, however, thanks to technology it has been possible to have alternatives to provide this type of services, reducing mobility, Therefore, this paper analyzes strategies implemented in some regions of the world in order to identify areas of opportunity for health care providers in our country, mainly for the care of chronic degenerative diseases such as diabetes mellitus, as well as the identification of new lines of research where health and technology can converge.
