Abstract

The global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic generated various changes in all sectors of society, leading an increasing number of companies to move towards remote work. The automotive industry was a clear example of this change in the modality of work, from face-to-face to non-face-to-face, which requires the development of various skills in its workers to participate in this type of modality. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the level of digital literacy to carry out non-face-to-face digital collaborative work of the supervisors of a company in the automotive sector. An instrument called "Digital Competences of Collaborative Work in remote modality in the practice of supervisors" was designed and validated, which was segmented into five sections that correspond to each of the dimensions of the conceptualization of digital literacy of collaborative work: a) Decision making, b) Digital Collaboration, c) Digital Communication, d) Digital Dynamics, and e) Use of Digital Technology. The results indicate that dimensions that need to be developed by supervisors are related to decision-making in a virtual environment and digital communication skills.
