Abstract

Interconectando Saberes Journal celebrates eight years of uninterrupted existence in 2023. Throughout this time, it has consistently maintained scientific diversity in both article themes and the scientific and philosophical perspectives of its authors, promoting open access to knowledge. In this 16th edition, fifteen articles are presented, divided into four blocks. The first block addresses digital inclusion and the development of mobile applications for education. The second focuses on topics related to health and the environment. The third block uses history and microhistory as central axes in various subjects. The fourth block explores the social role of universities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, the contribution of MUCPAZ in promoting gender equality is highlighted.
