Interconectando Saberes recognizes the importance of preserving the integrity, transparency, and reliability of the scientific and academic record published by the journal.
When errors, inconsistencies, or situations affecting the quality, accuracy, or integrity of a publication are identified, the Editorial Committee may issue corrections, errata notices, or retractions in accordance with editorial best practices and ethical principles.
Editorial Corrections
The journal may implement post-publication corrections when errors are detected that do not substantially affect the academic or scientific validity of the content.
Editorial corrections may include:
Correction of author names
Changes in authorship order
Omission of co-authorships
Correction of email addresses or affiliations
Correction of DOI or editorial metadata
Adjustments to titles, abstracts, or descriptive information
All corrections will be evaluated by the Editorial Committee and, when appropriate, will be published or updated in the electronic version of the article.
Errata
When an error may partially affect the interpretation, identification, or understanding of the published content, the journal may issue an erratum or editorial clarification notice.
These modifications will not alter the integrity of the original academic record, but will contribute to transparency regarding the corrections made.
Retractions
The journal may retract published articles when circumstances arise that compromise the ethical, scientific, or editorial integrity of the publication.
Retractions may result from, among other causes:
Plagiarism or improper use of academic content.
Falsification or manipulation of information, data, or results.
Undeclared ethical or authorship conflicts.
Formal withdrawal request submitted by the authors.
Simultaneous submission or duplicate publication in another journal.
The retraction of an article does not necessarily imply its removal from the journal’s website, except in exceptional situations. Whenever possible, the document will remain accessible together with the corresponding retraction notice in order to preserve transparency and the integrity of the academic record.
Editorial Responsibility
The Editorial Committee will be responsible for analyzing each case and determining the corresponding editorial measures in accordance with the journal’s ethics, anti-plagiarism, and editorial best practice policies.
