Abstract
The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in society have greatly influenced the way in which we communicate, live together, relate, work and above all, have taken a turn in the way we conceive our lives. Resulting in a starting point in the history of humanity that we can call Pre-TIC's and Post-TIC's.
In the case of this article, the Post-TIC's stage will be addressed with greater emphasis, where concepts on Information and Communication Technologies are presented. It shows the impact they have had on social relations especially with the use of smart phones and providing access to the Internet from these devices. Finally, some statistical data on the impact of ICTs worldwide and in Mexico are shown.
