Abstract
This text is an essay about the impact that new information and communication technologies (ICT) have on the lives of men, especially students. It is based on the argument that, although technologies provide advantages for students, they have not been able to take advantage of them efficiently and, on the contrary, they negatively affect their lifestyles. In the same way, teachers have not known how to use them in the classroom either. Throughout the essay, arguments that allow a greater reflection and analysis on the subject are presented.
