Abstract
This article describes the research project carried out at a printing press in the city of Orizaba, Ver. to identify and determine the cost per waste by applying administrative tools such as: sampling, flow chart and SMED. The methodology used consists of an analysis of historical information of the production orders from July to October 2018, carrying out the direct observation of the four printing processes, the timing of the activities executed by the operator to the preparation machines and printing and the follow-up of the production order by the departments from its creation to the conclusion.References
