Abstract
This article presents the systematization of sociocultural research’s conducted in the Sociocultural Management of Development in the Municipal University Centre (MUC) of Camajuaní, Villa Clara, Cuba. Using a mixed-methodological approach, the main thematic axes addressed by students, professors, and researchers of the MUC, associated with the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas are identified and analyzed. The results demonstrate the impact of sociocultural management as a strategy for community transformation, with an emphasis on Food and Nutritional Sovereignty, cultural heritage, community health, local tourism, and social participation. The study reaffirms the importance of the university-territory link in the design and execution of locally relevant research, from an integrative, participatory, and emancipatory perspective.
