Stages of the Editorial Process
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors must submit their manuscripts exclusively through the journal's OJS platform, following the Instructions for Authors, the Submission Checklist, and the journal's editorial policies.
2. Preliminary Editorial Review
The Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board evaluates the manuscript's thematic relevance, compliance with formal requirements, originality, overall quality, and alignment with the journal's aims and scope.
Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum requirements may be rejected or returned to the authors for revision before entering the peer review stage.
3. Peer Review
Research articles that successfully pass the preliminary editorial review are sent to specialists in the corresponding field under a double-blind peer review process, preserving the anonymity of both authors and reviewers.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' reports, the editorial team may issue one of the following decisions:
- Accepted without revisions.
- Accepted with minor revisions.
- Major revisions required and resubmission for review.
- Rejected.
5. Author Revisions
When required, authors must address the comments and recommendations provided by the reviewers and the editorial team and submit a revised version of the manuscript within the established timeframe.
6. Editing, Layout, and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo editorial editing, metadata verification, DOI assignment, layout preparation, and publication on the journal's OJS platform. Once published, all content becomes immediately available in open access for reading, downloading, and dissemination.
Estimated Processing Time
Evaluation times may vary depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and the time required for authors to address requested revisions. The journal aims to provide a first editorial decision within approximately three months from the date of manuscript submission.
Editorial Transparency
Editorial decisions are based on academic, scientific, ethical, and thematic relevance criteria. The journal does not discriminate against manuscripts on the basis of nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, theoretical orientation, or methodological approach, provided that submissions meet the journal's quality standards and editorial policies.
