Financial inclusion can be driven through technology. Cryptocurrencies are based on blockchain technology. In Mexico cryptocurrencies are under the Fintech Law, which has been a challenge since this law was enacted for cryptocurrency exchange houses. Cryptocurrencies can be used as a method of payment for their practicality, speed, registration, and immutability, as well as investment operations. The practicality of these allows promoting financial inclusion by the operations that can be carried out with them.
