Aims and Scope

 

Interconectando Saberes is a scientific journal founded in 2016 by the Institute for Research and Higher Studies in Economic and Social Sciences (IIESES) of the Universidad Veracruzana.

Aim

The journal aims to disseminate scientific knowledge from a transdisciplinary perspective, fostering dialogue among diverse fields of knowledge, theoretical approaches, and research methodologies for the analysis of contemporary challenges.

Interconectando Saberes seeks to contribute to development, innovation, and critical reflection in the economic, social, educational, and technological fields, incorporating complexity thinking and emerging technologies as key axes of analysis and discussion.

Scope

The journal publishes academic and scientific contributions related to the following areas:

Social Sciences

Social, cultural, territorial, and community studies.

Economics and Development

Economic processes, innovation, well-being, and social transformation.

Education

Educational processes, teaching practices, training, and pedagogical innovation.

Emerging Technologies

Digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data science, and applied technologies.

Complexity Thinking

Interdisciplinary analysis, systemic approaches, and contemporary issues.

Types of Contributions

The journal publishes scientific research articles and academic opinion papers, in accordance with its section policies and current editorial calls for papers.

Calls for papers are issued on a biannual basis and are addressed to researchers, academics, graduate students, and specialists whose contributions align with the journal's aims and scope.

Languages of Publication

Interconectando Saberes receives and publishes contributions in both Spanish and English.
