Abstract

ICTs represent a way to improve the quality of education, there is debate between whether its implementation has had an effective impact on improving learning, as. as if its application in virtual education can substitute the teacher or not. The introduction of ICT in education in Mexico has been a slow process full of political, economic and ideological barriers, since the use of computers has been like a word processor and the internet has been limited to the search for information or use of social networks.
